HEXAVERSE
2022
The starting point for this work were two layers of block printed tiles, a first layer of 55 blue tiles was followed by additional blue tones creating a cohesive background, additionally some black reconstruction followed before the second layer of 35 white block printed diamond shapes. These diamond shapes form the hexagonal structure, these layers proved very inspiring to reconstruct, it expresses birthing from the holographic universe.
WAVES
2021 - 2022
The starting point for this series was variable of wall 999 created via guidelines and instructions at Art Laboratory in Otres Art Studio. I revisited the series upon my return to Belgium and in Covid lock down worked on all five paintings simultaneously, utilising a timer and giving myself very limited time per colour and material for each step per five paintings. Once the base structure and composition was created, I took each painting separately to meticulously compose the final result.
GLASS WORKS
2021 - 2022
It affects us all, encompasses all, births all, connects all, it is the ultimate light. It is always and everywhere, infinite, cosmic, powerful yet mostly remains unseen. Glass engraving is a fitting technique to depict the symbolism of the holographic universe, only when the light hits it at the right angle the imagery becomes crisp and clear.

From lust to passion remains obsession.
Redirecting desire, poetic perversion, growth through trusting thrust.
Much more suppressed unexpressed behold confrontation intimate revelations.
DETERMINED DESIRE
2012 - 2020
Evolution through doubts and insecurities, sensitive beauty, an accumulation of stories formed over three periods.
A hopeful almost naive attitude supported by a strong linear force.
A first layer was accomplished at a live video drawing performance in 2012 (Ghent). In 2017 it served as a base for an intimate collaboration; after this it relocated with me to Cambodia where it became part of the weekly ‘chaos’ laboratory sessions (Otres Art Studio). Upon my return to Belgium the work was finally finished in 2020 and given its last contrasting structural layer.

Transitional blue dimension, vaporised emotion.
